Hotel amenity ideas for Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche
French-based hotel brand Sofitel opened its first property in Abu Dhabi in February this year. The new Sofitel hotel is located in the Capital Plaza Building, in the heart of the city’s business zone and the prestigious district on the Corniche Road. The hotel features 282 rooms, Sofitel’s signature So Spa and So Fit concepts, as well as six restaurants and bars offering French cuisine and fusion of local and Asian flavors.
Glass Studio collaborated with the hotel’s opening team in creating buffet items for all day dining venue as well as guest room amenities. Today we present to you our designs for the hotel’s room amenity program.
Amenity stand by Glass Studio for Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche
The hotel’s room design concept is based on modern and stylish decor, featuring the elements in black and white with occasional outbursts of bright accents. Our designers created amenities that complement the contemporary feel of the interior and serve as functional and stylish accessories.

Our room amenities designs featured amenity stands as well as amenity plates for fruits and desserts. The design of the amenity stand was conceptualized as a contemporary and edgy three-tier stand with silver metal tree-shape base and small glass serving bowls. It is used for serving small fruits such as strawberries or sweets.

The design of the amenity plate was sleek and simple, featuring a combination of an elegant black color of the plate and small silver metal handles. The plate can be used as a dessert plate or a small serving tray for welcome amenities.
