Custom Black And Green Show Plates For Taj Lands End !
Glass Studio designed custom black and green show plates for Ming Yang, Taj Lands End’ s Chinese restaurant. Our dinnerware designer, Yulia, worked with the restaurant team to design black & green charger plates. The idea was that the show plates would be a part of the peaceful restaurant setting that is designed around the principals of Feng Sui.
The show plates’ black and green colour combination was selected so that it is in harmony with by Ming Yang’s signature colour, which is also complemented by the paintings with Chinese motifs executed in traditional brush style, creating a subtle intimacy. The black and green show plates designed for Ming Yang were handpainted with the Batique technique with the black color applied as a base on the whole surface and the bright green color applied on top creating a unique mixture of the two colors having a free circular movement.
Attracting Mumbai’s glitterati and the who’s who of the corporate world, Ming Yang is a preferred dining destination among guests who seek both authentic culinary and a fine dining atmosphere.
