Bread and butter plate – everything is in the details
When designing tabletop for a restaurant, details matter. Especially when matching tableware with modern, elegant and edgy decor. Current trends in dining favor rather simple tabletops, with few tastefully chosen “statement” pieces that accentuate the style of the venue and prepare patrons for the culinary adventures ahead.

When working on the tabletop design for famous Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr (Abu Dhabi), our idea was to create a simple and elegant table setting, using a b and stylish tableware piece. Our designers used “crystal” pattern in black color to match the color spectrum of the interior, as well as to mimic the motive of the impressive “flame” wall. We chose elegant square shape for the plate which creates harmony with the geometry of the tabletop.
Our designs illustrate that bread and butter plate can be the focal point of the tabletop and the key stylish element sought in contemporary and elegant restaurant setting.
