Buffetware designs for Oryx Rotana, Doha
When creating dinnerware for buffetware, functional and practical aspects of the design are the key. This was the heart of the concept of our designs for Oryx Rotana hotel in Doha and its dining venue “Choices”.

Following Rotana’s classic and elegant design with b contemporary feel and accent on comfort and practicality, our dinnerware designs for buffet dining were in tune with the hotel’s philosophy.

We chose simple and clean style for the design of the buffetware, using clear glass with green tint and soft shapes.

Our designs included buffet items such as buffet stands and elevations, large fruit bowls, salad bowls and glass dressing bowls for salad stations, as well as a range of small canape plates and appetizer dishes.
Buffet stand with beverages
Some of the most prominent designs were buffet stands and centerpieces in Glass Studio’s signature drum-like and shelf-like forms. Our designs for buffet stands never fail to add elegance to the food presentation and extra dimension to the dynamics of the dining space.

Clear glass dinnerware allowed culinary creations to be the center of attention, while the frost of the glass and interplay between matte and shiny surfaces accentuated the freshness of the food.
