About Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi
Hyatt’s largest property under the Park Hyatt brand was opened in Abu Dhabi in November 2011. The new hotel is located on the 9 kilometer stretch on the environmentally-protected beach on the Saadiyat Island. The hotel offers 306 luxury rooms and suites, four private villas and accommodates a range of leisure facilities such as the Atarmia spa, swimming pools, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, tennis court, and four dining and lounge venues.
The hotel was designed as an urban resort, offering “all of the amenities and seclusion of an island oasis” in an urban setting of the metropolis. Glass Studio collaborated with hotel’s designers in creating dinnerware items that would enrich hotel’s dining presentation and amenities. Today we present to you our creations for Park Hyatt’s room amenities.
Room amenities for Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi
Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi was envisioned as the “urban resort”. Its interiors are designed with a mix of contemporary elegance and elements of the Arabian culture. The hotel rooms are conceptualized to offer guests “personalized, understated luxury and discreet, attentive service in a stylish and elegant ambiance”.
Room decor at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi
The design of the rooms is modern and elegant, with hints of Arabian influences. Spacious room overlooking the beach or the adjacent golf club are designed in neutral colors of the dessert and feature accents in gold, dark wood, marble and subtle details with orient-style patterns.
Glass Studio designed items for room amenities that complement the decor of the guest rooms and accentuate the overall style of the hotel. The designs focused on VIP amenity items such as large fruit bowls for suites and executive rooms as well as smaller glass bowls for nuts and snacks.
Amenity fruit bowl by Glass Studio for Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi
Amenity fruit bowls were designed in clear glass with shiny gold accents on the rim or the stand. This allowed the amenities to blend with the decor of the rooms but also serve as a functional decoration.
