Color magic for Marsa Malaz Kempinski!
Modern hotel plates custom designed for Marsa Malaz Kempinski is a project we take special pride in because it was a great chance to unfold the beautiful possibilities of glass art applied in creating beautiful, artistic, strong objects for professional use.
A special day
It was Nana’s, Glass Studio tabletop designer responsible for this project, birthday when she met with the Kempinski team to discuss about the project. The meeting was off with a great start as our designer was happily surprised with a birthday cake!
The hotel team wanted something contemporary glass plate designs that would be out of the ordinary. The Glass Studio designer loved the challenge! Freedom of expression and trust do wonders for creative collaborations and both of these ingredients were present! She began designing something dynamic and fresh which would blend perfectly with the colors of the interior like a chameleon, still maintaining a unique and artsy character. A universal designed ton-sur-ton collection for all the outlets of the hotel in pastel shades!
Colors of modern hotel plates in the spotlight!
Colors were put in the spotlight. Every object matching the color of each space, every plate matching the color of the food it presents. Tones of beautiful pastels blending with each other forming the Glass Studio “multicolor cloud” pattern creating a dreamy, feathery effect.
Everyone participating in the project, from the people producing the objects to the Marsa Malaz Kempinski team was super excited about the design process and the outcome!
