Custom designed lazy susan for Chinese restaurant
Glass Studio designed a custom lazy susan tray for Crown Melbourne. The customized glass turntable is designed in correspondence to the rest of the table setting items that all have golden details- dinnerware and glassware with golden rims, golden utensils, etc.
The golden rotating tray that was specifically designed for Silks, Crown’s premier Chinese restaurant, is made of clear glass with a golden geometrical pattern that we call “Arabesque” pattern. The custom lazy susan design is characterized by a minimal lux style that matches the restaurant interior perfectly.
Tip: “Lazy Susan” is the turntable (rotating tray) placed on a table or countertop to aid in moving food
Silks offers authentic regional cuisines, including an array of Northern Chinese, Sichuan, Cantonese and Shanghainese additions, and an extensive selection of teas. The private dining rooms, including the iconic Mongolian tent, offer an intimate dining experience for up to 12 people. Glass Studio’s designer Yulia was happy to collaborate with Crown Melbourne for Silks’ table setting design!
