Modern glass dinnerware dinnerware for Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi
Glass Studio collaborated with the team of Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi on creating dining setup for the hotel’s all-day dining venue “Kafe Fontana”. Described as “a combination of Tuscan Palazzo and a Californian conservatory”, the venue is conceptualized as a restaurant-coffee shop that offers 24 hour service. The restaurant offers a blend of Indian and Mediterranean dishes, serving favorites from Turkish, Greek, Lebanese, Moroccan, Spanish, French, Italian and Indian cuisines.

The restaurant is designed to offer a refreshing ambiance, with a relaxing and modern Mediterranean flair. The lighting is gently tuned throughout the day so as to give guests a feeling of being under a Tuscan sun or in a market place in Istanbul. The decor is based on earthy colors that give a great contrast to the view of the pool and its landscaped gardens with fresh greenery.
